Technician Resume

Above is a good resume example for a technician.  Note the resume starts with the contact information at the top.  If you have a 2-page resume, you should include this on every page of the resume.  The summary of qualifications section listed below the contact info should be 2 to 4 sentences, highlighting your skills as they relate to the position being applied for.  Take the time to customize this section for every position you apply for to stand out to the hiring manager. Certifications are listed next in bullet point format to insure they stand out, you can also put these in bold font to make then pop off the page even more.  Professional experience is next, listing the most recent experience first.  Note the same is true if you held multiple jobs at the same company, list your most recent experience on top - this also shows promotions and job growth within that organization.  Last is technical skills,  for this example the section is broken into software, operating systems, networking and programming.  Tweak these groupings based on your skills.
