Above is a good resume example for a
technician. Note the resume starts with the contact
information at the top. If you have a 2-page resume,
you should include this on every page of the resume.
The summary of qualifications section listed below the
contact info should be 2 to 4 sentences, highlighting your
skills as they relate to the position being applied for.
Take the time to customize this section for every position
you apply for to stand out to the hiring manager.
Certifications are listed next in bullet point format to
insure they stand out, you can also put these in bold font
to make then pop off the page even more. Professional
experience is next, listing the most recent experience
first. Note the same is true if you held multiple jobs
at the same company, list your most recent experience on top
- this also shows promotions and job growth within that
organization. Last is technical skills, for this
example the section is broken into software, operating
systems, networking and programming. Tweak these
groupings based on your skills.
