Navy to Civilian Resume Example

Making the move from a Navy position to a civilian job?  Above is an sample resume to use as a guide as you compose your Navy-To-Civilian resume.  The resume begins with David's personal contact information.  Next is a brief statement outlining what the candidate is looking for - "...MCSA candidate interested in working as an IT Systems/Network Administrator..."  Qualifications are next, outlining what was learned while serving in the Navy, skills that can be applied to a civilian position.  As this is a resume for an IT job, computer skills (hardware & protocols) are highlighted next.  Note if you are applying for a non-tech job, these skills should be listed at the bottom below the education section. Professional experience is listed next on the resume, outlining skills and experience.  Work history and education is listed last, this should include job titles, bullet point key responsibilities and dates.
