Leaving during probationary period?

I recently accepted a position that was at best a poor match. In discussing this with my director we decided it would be best to part ways after 7 weeks. While I learned valuable lessons through this there are no significant experiences to add to my resume.  My question, should I list this on my resume or not? If not, my concern is then how to bring this up and not misrepresent my employment history.

Re: Leaving during probationary period?

"No need to include this on your resume, but do list it when completing employment applications. PLEASE whatever you do, disregard any posts that recommend lying about anything employment related. This is just plain stupid and will cause more harm than good.  For those of you that go around lying - keep it to yourself and stop trying to pass off that idea as "advice" to those that come here with real questions."
