Hello,
I was wondering if anyone else has had the issue of bing laid off and forced to do contracting work for a few years (in my case five) only to have potential employers pass over you because they no longer see you as a permanent employee? I have a graduate degree in finance and have been applying to permanent jobs during my contracting years with no bites. I have worked at several companies as an employee before getting laid off however, it appears as though employers no longer see me in this light. Any suggestions would be appreciated (I have already re-worked my Chronological resume 100 times, literally). Thank you for any advice you may have.

You may choose to outline the temp jobs as that on the resume. Have one line item for the temp jobs and list duties. Alternatively, you may consider a professional writing service. We do not write the resumes ourselves, however do offer suggested services. The first one listed offers a guarantee, if you do not receive interviews from the resume they write, they will re-write it for you free of change until you secure interviews and a job.
